The Mystery of the Silver Circle
by Mollie Chappell
Footsteps on the stairs in a deserted inn, a silver ring, a robbery, a ruined sketch - these were some of the incidents which went to make up the mystery of The Silver Circle - a mystery which the three young Taylors and Kim found themselves caught up in.
It all started, quite innocently, when Sally decided to sketch The Silver Circle, a derelict old inn standing in the middle of a wood. And from then on nothing was the same; and in almost all the mysterious happenings, somehow or other the children were involved - so deeply, indeed, that it led to danger for Livvy and Kim and the 'worst dressing-down of our lives' for them all.
Livvy, the Head of the Family, tells the story, and manages to convey to the reader all the suspense and excitement of their adventures. A book which every youngster is sure to enjoy and one which will keep them engrossed - and guessing - till the very last page.
