The Key of Rose Cottage

by Margaret Baker

A quiet restful holiday in a country cottage. To Nicola, Roberta and Margery this seems a very pleasant way of spending the summer. But, when Aunt Mary is left unable to join them and they are left to their own devices, things start to go wrong.
The girls face up in determined fashion to some very unexpected happenings and do not allow themselves to be upset by such trivial matters as a lack of food and money, and a key which doesn't fit the door.
Here is an enjoyable family story about three likeable young people with whom girl readers will readily identify themselves.
