This site aims to record all the books for girls, ideally in all their editions, included in either the Collins Seagull Library or the Collins Children’s Press, New Challenge Library and Boys’ and Girls’ Library. Eventually I hope to provide photographs of all editions available to me.

I’ve tried to acknowledge assistance on the book pages but as some people have offered duplicate information I’m also putting this thank you to everyone who has emailed with help or support for the idea on the front page.

If the book is not linked then I do not have a copy of it in a Seagull and/or Children’s Press edition.
If you visit the relevant pages you will see whether my copy has either laminated boards or a dustwrapper. I hope to get round to scanning them all eventually but obviously I don’t own every edition so I would be very grateful for any scans.
If you have a dustwrapper ‘blurb’ that I don’t have I would also be very grateful for those.

Someone suggested that I might want to show some sample covers - so people who want to help can see what the dustwrapper or laminated boards of the book should look like: though basically they do say ‘Seagull’ (or have some prominently on the spine), Children’s Press, New Challenge Series etc. - you’ll find examples here
